Spencer Kendall, we would like to do that if we could, however a shared hosting server (meant for web sites) is not the best online hosting setup to backup your own personal files. Your best bet would be to go with Keepit, and it’ll only cost you $5 a month.

I have an even better idea: Why not offer a SSL folder to your customers who are already spending $100+ with you each year?

You can backup any file that is on your computer, for a simple $5 per month (after you get to try it out for free for 3 months). If something bad were to happen to your computer, you wouldn’t really need to backup things like window system files or anything like that. What you would need to do is restore your PC back to the way it was (or maybe you are buying a new PC to replace it). What Keepit does is make it simple to backup the important user created documents (pictures, images, music, documents) so you can easily restore them if they are lost. Hope that helps!

After the 3 months of free service, it’s $5 a month with no minimum contract term? Can you backup your entire computer not just your documents, pic, etc.?

So what’s it cost after the three free months? Can’t seem to find this information anywhere, though if I read the agreement correctly, it looks like there’s an 11-month obligation upon sign-up.
