Lunarpages picks their favorite TV shows!

Author:  Mitch Keeler

With the recent release of the new Star Trek movie, I started to think a lot about some of the classic and newer shows I watch.  Having decided my personal favorite, I decided to start asking around at Lunarpages to find out what was everybody else’s favorite TV show?

Priest (CSR Supervisor) MacGyver – “Duct tape, swiss army knife, paperclip… Need I say more?”

Chad Riddle (Operations Manager) Family Guy – “they do and say some of the most shockingly funny things EVER!!!!”

Amy Armitage (MissChief of Buzz Dev) – Six Feet Under (2001 – 2005) -  “Dark, comical, dysfunctional, unpredictable – mmmm @ lime green ’71 Cadillac hearse”

Roy (CSR) The Simpsons - “Why? Because it is The Simpsons!! Only the greatest show in history and the longest running prime-time cartoon ever. ”

Flora (CSR) House M.D. – “Well-written, cleverly plotted, intriguing and strange medical mysteries, and a brilliant cast. Also, the main character is a hilarious, intelligent scoundrel with a vicodin addiction.”

Katrina (CSR Supervisor) West Wing – “It’s fast paced, witty, provocative, human, with multiple stories going on at one time.”

Daniel (Trainer) Lost – “The plot is intricate enough that it keeps you thinking…and when you think you’ve gotten it figured out, they throw in more twists and turns.”

Patrick (CSR Supervisor) NCIS - “Two months ago this question may have been a toss up between Buffy, Stargate SG-1, or even BSG.  That was before discovering the addiction otherwise known as NCIS.  I had watched some of the re-runs on cable, then found a good deal on the box set for season one.  Seven weeks later I had bought and watched all five seasons on DVD, and had season six on the CBS site.  The show is subtle and intelligent, with masterful storytelling, for in the end it is all about the characters.”

Ben M (CSR) The Deadliest Warrior – “Because it KICKS ARSE!”

Mitch (Business Development Specialist) Red Dwarf – “The greatest sci-fi spoof sitcom there ever has been or will be.”

Mike V (Account Executive) – Smallville – “because as I said before I am an old comic fan and I like to see how Hollywood interprets the story lines and characters.”

Deb C (CSR) Roseanne – “because she understands that sarcasm is a fine art that must be practiced daily!”

Shawn W (CSR) The Simpsons – “I was raised by the Simpsons lol. The older episodes are better IMO.”

Greg (Customer Service Supervisor) Breaking Bad – “Great acting, killer story line, sucks you in and won’t let you go!”  (Honorable mention – 24 doesn’t suck either!)

Orlando (Quality Assurance) La Liga – “Futbol all day! Is there anything else?”

Randy (CSR) Lost – “because it has everything you can ask for in a show: smoke monsters, time travel, tough chicks, awesome scenery, and you can never predict what’s going to happen.”

Daniel M (CSR) Rescue Me – “The creativity of Dennis Leary never ceases to amaze me. Each episode leaves you on the edge of your seat and begging for more.”

Lydia (New Accounts) Everyone Loves Raymond – “Because everyone can relate to Raymond & Debra & It’s FUNNNY!!!”

Tiara (Affiliate Program Manager) – Law & Order:SVU – “Because nobody messes with Detectives Stabler and Benson!”

Matthew O (CSR) Iron Chef – “I love food!”

Now time for you to pick, what is your favorite TV show?

I would really love to hear from some of the Lunarpages customers or newsletter fans, what is your favorite TV show?  Do you like something that is on right now, or do you have an old favorite you would like to share?  Sound off in the comments!
