Hi

I had a great time reading this entire post. Specially the story of your grandfather. I think the bottom line of any online business is how well your convertion ratio is. After doing all the basics of SEO ( On Page & Off Page ) its all about converting your visitors into lead customers and that is what matters most in any form of business.

Getting business is what takes you to the next level of competition and eventually establishing a successful business.

Looking forward to more great articles from you.

Regards
Abhishek

This has been a fantastic series. I have the smallest most insignificant site in the world but employ the SEO techniques and STATS (Google Analytics). Recently, I made a page on my site to announce a horsemanship clinic for a horse trainer who has his own site. My page comes up first over the big sites due to utilizing SEO techniques that I learned here! (The trainer's site doesn't come up). This series of articles contains useful information. Thanks to the author and LP for publishing them here in the newsletter.

Robin, To a newbie like me what you say is confusing but makes sence also. Oh, I'm a 60 yr old newbie. My internet skills are growing but still near the nill mark. However I've looked around enough to know that what you say is very thought provoking. I do only squidoo lenses and am still getting my feet wet in this article stuff. However your grandfather follwed an innate sence of what was common sence. I think from what I have seen online many people lack that in many cases. The trick I guess is to KNOW your audience, and IF you do know them, funneling them to the register will be as natural as taking a breath. Thanks so much.
