If you hadn’t noticed yet, I really love working with LPQuicksite! As our newest Web Hosting Plan here at Lunarpages, there’s still a lot of questions our customers ask me every day. I thought it would be helpful to have a common FAQ article here for your assistance and reference, to help you guys work with this amazing new plan.

Q. How do I login?

If you want to start building your website, simply visit LPQuicksite.Lunarpages.com, where you can login with the username and password we emailed to you in your Critical Account Information email.

If you want to manage your email, visit LPLogin.com or YourDomain.com/cpanel.

Q. How do I find a template?

Once you are logged in, you will automatically be prompted to follow Step 1: Choose a Design. Click on that to begin.

From there, you can choose a category, preview templates, and even change the template’s color scheme! We have categories such as Business & Ecommerce, Entertainment, Family & Education, Personal & Blog, and more! With over 330 templates to choose from (with more added every day), you are sure to find your perfect theme.

Q. Can I put a logo into my website’s header?

Of course! Simply click on Design > Customize Header and upload your company’s logo in the Logo Field.

Q. I want to create a page but I don’t want it in my website’s menu. How do I set that up?

There are two ways to manage which pages show up in your website’s menu. The first is to simply uncheck the check box when you are editing your webpages that says “Add to Menu”. Unchecking it will remove that specific web page from your site’s menu. Checking it will add it back into the menu.

You can also change these options at any time by viewing which pages are showing in your menu with these easy steps:

1. Create the page you want, just how you want it, by clicking on Content > Manage Pages > Add New Page.
2. After you’ve saved your page, click on Design > Re-Order Menu.
3. Click and drag the page you created from the Right side of “My Menu” to the Left side of “Available Pages”. This will keep your page hosted in LPQuicksite but will remove it from the menu.

Q. I want to include meta tags. How do I do that?

LPQuicksite’s “Site Settings” will update your meta tags for you. So if you want to add a new description or keywords, just navigate to Main > Site Settings.

Q. How can I upload files, MP3s, or PDFs and link to them?

LPQuicksite makes it easy to upload all your files!

1. Highlight the text you would like to link. For example, if you are linking to a PDF document called Titles, you might highlight the word “Titles” in your web page.
2. Click on the Link button.
3. Clcik on the Upload tab.
4. Locate the file on your computer and click Upload.
5. Once uploaded, you will see the URL to your MP3, PDF, or other document under the URL field. You can also always find it under the Browse Server tab. For now, if you’re linking to it, just click Save and you’re all set!

Q. I don’t want my Index.html page to be the first page people see. Can I change this?

Yes! Navigate to Main > Site Settings and scroll down to the bottom of that page. Under the “Default Page” option, select the page you want under the dropdown menu and click “Apply”. Whatever page you choose will be the first page people see when they visit your website. This is especially helpful if your website is Under Construction or you have a warning you need to display before clients can enter the website.

Q. I do not want my shopping cart to be called “Products”. How can I change this?

1. Navigate to Edit Content > Shopping Cart > PayPal Settings
   
2. Under “Edit Product Settings”, change the Display Name to the name of your choice. By default, this page is entitled “Products”.

Q. I want to insert a counter, PayPal button, or other HTML code into my site. How do I do that?

This tutorial on our Wiki should help with inserting website counters. It can also be used for PayPal and any other HTML codes you have. Just make sure to edit your page under “Source” and paste the HTML code exactly where you want it to show up on your website.
