24 Links to Make Life Better
Author: Mitch Keeler
Over the past couple of months, I have been having a fun time keeping up with my link of the day list on the Lunarpages forums. Then, it hit me (like a frying pan from a disgruntled significant other) that I could share these links with all of you! Here are a collection of links that will definitely (at least a few of them) make your life better.

This awesome site replaced my “read later” bookmark folder in Firefox. Using a simple bookmarklet, you can save any link to read later and the site itself gives you a neat list of links and the ability to “skip” (mark it read) or to mark the link unread. Very simple, and because of that, very effective.
This web site lets you create, well… tiny tags!
SadTrombone.com and InstantRimshot.com
Handy to have if you surround yourself with people telling horrible jokes or bad stories.
One of my favorite places to look for CSS/design insperation.
Free online survey software!
This is an interesting mash-up search tool.
A very simple shopping tool.
Allows you to get tons of stats, graphs and charts telling you more about your FeedBurner powered feed.
AddThis.com is my personal favorites of the sharing and socializing web sites out there.
Very nice tool to keep at your side to see how long it takes for your page to load, and if there is an issue, the tools they provide should let you know (or put you on the right track) to finding out what that issue is.
All the latest design news!
helps with general reminders…
It is a free, open source, web application which allows user to quickly deploy a web project framework with valid XHTML and CSS in only a matter of seconds.
This is a new and very interesting blog search tool.
It is a downloadable, open source (GPL licensed) web analytics software program. It provides you with detailed reports on your website visitors: the search engines and keywords they used, the language they speak, your popular pages… and so much more.
Gives you stats and a counter, based on how many people are following you on Twitter.
Will give you “everything you need to know” about a web site. Tons of stats and information!
A personal favorite of mine!
a simple web-based news aggregator!
A tool to help you keep track of where you (or your web site) are being mentioned.
An easy way to embed and view PDF files without having to download them.
The time management tool you want to use!
I think the plan for 2009 will be to do a link of the day theme each month. Let me know if you have any theme suggestions for links you would like to see in the future. Also, remember to come visit us on the Lunarforums from time to time too. There is an entire crew of helpful and handy forum members waiting to welcome you in.

Thanks for including Kallow in your great list. We work hard to make the process of buying electronics drop dead simple.
Cheers,
