Ping.fm is a simple service that makes updating your social networks a snap.

They support everything from Twitter to MySpace, and everything in between. Here are some of the ones I use Ping.fm to update:

Once you have signed up, all you have to do is put in your login information for each of these services, and then write up your updates. Whenever you “Ping it”, your update, status update, blog post, and more will go out to all the networks you have plugged in that associate with that type of update.
