Turn a Weak Economy into an Online Success

Let’s face the facts that right now, the economy is not doing so hot. We all feel it, no matter if it is at the local grocery store or at the gas pump. It is getting harder and harder for a guy to earn a buck, so sometimes you might need to look towards other means to make your income.

Let’s say you have a little cup of hosting left on your current web hosting plan, and you plan to move into the game of eBay. Perhaps you can sell off some of your own belongings to make some money? So you get started with eBay, get your store going and you see there is a demand for the kinds of goods you offer.

You’re a success, a hit, a startup that has no end in sight. Who knew that selling your grandmother’s tea pot collection could be so profitable? The only problem is that you are out growing eBay by leaps and bounds and you want to turn this full circle and use your hosting account to manage your business. That is an easy thing to do. Just login to your account, install yourself a shopping script and you’re good to go. For that professional look, you could always grab a dedicated IP and a SSL Certificate of your very own. If you have or upgrade to a Business web hosting plan, you could get your dedicated IP for free and also a free SSL Certificate installation. All the tools you need are provided for you on your Lunarpages web hosting account.

So looks like we have turned a negative into a positive. We went from being penniless in a bad economy to a successful Online business. Want to do the same?

I’m trying to sell my 3D artworks as posters/prints and some other type of products on Zazzle and Deviantart Inc. I prefer to do all my self but currently I don’t have enough bucks to purchase a plotter and other needle stuff.

Just one little hitch … there’s a gazillion people shopping on eBay every day! A new web site will be lucky to get a dozen or so hits in a day (unless you spend lots of $$$ on PPC or other advertising) which would then end up costing you the same as — or more than — good ol’ eBay!

My suggestion (from 11+ years of selling on eBay, my web site, and other online venues) is the same as your granny told you … never put all your eggs in one basket!
