DIY Logo Design with The Logo Creator
by Tiara Rea
Every business needs a good website, and every good website needs a good logo to accompany it. Many business owners neglect to realize the importance of branding as far as logo design is concerned, but it’s something you should seriously consider. And while it used to cost a fortune to create a professionally-designed logo, you can now do it from the comfort of your own computer and at no cost to you!
That’s because Lunarpages is now offering two logo design sets from The Logo Creator, 100% free with your hosting purchase! This is valued at $60 and can literally help transform your website, business cards, printed materials, and more. For more information on the free products being offered, take a look at all the Free Bonus Software.
What is The Logo Creator?
The Logo Creator is a simple, easy-to-use logo creator software developed by Laughingbird Software that you download and keep forever on any computer, Mac or Windows! With The Logo Creator, you have the power of infinite logo designs in your hands.
I’m not computer savvy…can I still work with the Logo Creator?
Yep! It’s just as easy as downloading the software and opening it on your home PC or Mac. From there, you simply click on the starting logo you want to work with and modify it as you want. There is literally no learning curve, so you can play as you go, without worrying about ‘messing up’ a design – you have unlimited options for designs and unlimited chances to make the perfect logos.
How much control do I have over the modification of my logo designs?
You have full and complete control. There are literally hundreds or even thousands of ways you can modify the images and text, by rotating, adjusting the size, changing the font, creating shadows, altering the color or style, and more. You are only limited by your own ideas! You can even import your own photos to get a personal touch and create unlimited options for further logo designs.
How do I save my logo?
You can save your logo in various formats, from JPG to PNG. If you want to work with the logo again, we recommend you save it at a TLC extension by clicking on File > Save. That way, you can open the image there again and continue editing if you need without losing any quality. If you’re ready to export it so that you can use it on business cards, websites, printouts and more, go to Export and choose the proper image solution for you. Most likely, a JPG will suffice.
What are some examples of logos I can create using the Sports & Entertainment packs?
You have unlimited possibilities, but here are a few samples of different logos that have been used from the Sports and Entertainment packs:

And if you’re curious, I’ve used these sets before myself and loved all of them! Here’s a quick sample of a logo I created for my mom (she wants a new website soon) using several of The Logo Creator’s software packs:

Can I sell the logos I create? Do I own them?
Yes, and yes! You can resell the logos you create with The Logo Creator and they are yours for life.
I don’t need a logo, so why do I need this software?
If you own or operate a business website, you need a logo. But if you don’t want to have one on your website, you can always use this software to create logos for your business cards, printouts, graphics, and more. You really aren’t limited to simple logos and because you can upload your own images to work with, you are assured unlimited possbilities for your designs.
Do I get anything else with these Logo Creator sets?
What more could you possibly want?
How about some awesome graphic elements that you can use for buttons, banners, icons, and more? Here’s a sample of the type of graphics that come with these phenomenal sets:

Really frickin awesome design software. I know people in logo design who can’t hand-craft stuff that looks half as good as this software provides. hehe

I must say, this software is a lot more professional than the other logo design stuff out there. I was able to easily create some pretty awesome buttons, banners, and badges for a client of mine and I could match it perfectly to his website design. Plus it only took a couple minutes. Really, really great job on this one.

Took me about 24 hours to get the email with the downloads and was able to find them right away. So cool that you guys offer this. My old web host never cared much about anything other than me paying on time. Keep up the great work.

Hi Tiara,
I signed up for the free download by filling out the Lunarpages Promo form at the Laughingbird site (linked from the ‘Specials’ tab in my LP account page). Now 24 hours later, I’ve just received a newsletter from Laughingbird which is basically just a promotional flyer of all their products WITH PRICES (including the Logo Creator) but NO FREE DOWNLOADS whatsoever. What uh… What gives? Don’t tell me this promotion is over already? I was just about to put a big blurb about it on my site below my affiliate link. Not sure what to do. Should I contact them instead?

Okay I contacted Marc at LaughingBird directly and he apologized and forwarded a copy of the Logo Creater free download email to me. So there was a bit of a SNAFU there but I’m all fixed up now.

Well I have been trying to chase up for months now on this and still not getting anywhere, I have been sending emails back and fourth from notlaughingbird and digital river. Seem to be going round in cirlces and getting totally nowhere fast. Its a shame as I heard alot of good responses from the lunarforums on this software but it looks like the ship has sailed.

Hi Mac – I just emailed you regarding this. I’m betting the emails are getting lost in your spam folder, but just let me know your subscribed email in reply to what I sent you and I’ll get this straightened out ASAP.

I just tried to get this and got the same response as Mac.
I’ll give it a day to see if some other email shows up.

Hi Don – if nothing shows up after 24 hours, check your spam or junk email folders. If there’s still nothing, it’s somehow being blocked so you can send us an email at affiliate@lunarpages.com and I’ll take care of it

Glad to hear everybody has (finally) received the email containing the links to The Logo Creator downloads.
Anybody reading this thread in the future, please note that the eMail WILL get to you. My database can only send out the eMails every 24 hours.
LunarPages is so very huge. I needed to slow down the outgoing mailings a bit. My server was having kanipshan fits. It was having trouble sending the letters out one by one. Now, the system simply collects the day’s registrations and sends the links out at the end of each day.
I’m here if anybody needs any help with any of the above!
