Domain Registration and Management via the Lunarpages Customer Account Page

Author: Mitch Keeler

The Lunarpages Customer Account Page (or sometimes called the CAP) is the brain of your web hosting account. From there you can register more domain names, manage your account information, renew your billing for your hosting plan and much more. Here I wanted to cover a few of the basic Customer Account Page questions that we receive.

How do I register and manage a domain name via the Customer Account Page?

managerdomainsRegistering a new domain name under your hosting account is a very easy thing to do. First step would be to sign into the Customer Account Page at https://account.lunarpages.com. Next you will want to go to where it says “Manage/Register Domains”.

Next you should see a screen like this:

Now if you can register a domain name via the Customer Account Page you should see a “Purchase New Domain” button.

This will be next to where it says “Modify Domain”. A window should pop up and you will be taken through a wizard to get your new domain registered.

If your in need of a .ca, or .name registration please contact support@lunarpages.com and we can do it for you from there. If not, put in your domain name, and then select your domain extension and if you want anonymous domain registration. Then click on “Check Availability” and the domain registration wizard will walk you through the rest of the process.

With the prices, the registration system will offer you a registration option based on your existing hosting plan duration.

2 year plan – Domain – $19.90 USD
1 year plan – Domain – $9.95 USD

2 year plan – Make Anonymous – $15.90 USD
1 year plan – Make Anonymous – $7.95 USD

Check back next time where we let you know more about how to use the Customer Account Page to your advantage!

Please note if you signed up with anything other than a credit card or e-check, registration of domains must happen via dropping in an e-mail to support@lunarpages.com or by putting in a help desk ticket.

Never knew I could register domains this way. Think I’ll switch over to credit card billing so I can get this all done there. Thanks for the tutorial!

Never knew this, good idea and all tied into your own account.

    Must check this out.

But how do you transfer an already existing domain over to Lunar?

Kip, all you need to do is e-mail support@lunarpages.com and we can walk you through the process if needed. It would need to be handled through a ticket, due to the fact it is a little ‘bit more complicated of a process. Hope that helps!
