AdSense Users, Have Your Privacy Policy Ready?
Author: Mitch Keeler
If you use Google AdSense on your web sites, you had better pay attention.
Google AdSense is now requiring you to both have a privacy policy and link to that privacy policy on every page you display ads on. The overlooked update was also posted about on their blog…
We’ve also added some specific requirements that make it necessary for publishers to post and abide by a transparent privacy policy that users see. According to this policy, publishers must notify their users of the use of cookies and/or web beacons to collect data in the ad serving process. This change relates to advertisers’ use of innovative products and features like Gadget Ads and other offerings in the future.
For more help on this I would also suggesting seeing their FAQ page on the topic: Do I need to update my site policies regarding third-party ads? Overall I don’t think this is a bad idea. It helps inform the public about cookies that are being monitored, what they are being used for and more.
The only problem is I have a feeling many people skipped over this policy update and won’t have a clue about it till Google warns them or suspends their Google AdSense account.

Is there a place I could find some generic wording to use that would cover their terms. Gotta say I’m not too sure what I’m supposed to write.
