WordPress Design Contest - Win 5 years Web Hosting AND $1000!

It’s almost December, and here at Lunarpages, we’re filled with the holiday spirit! With our employee Toys for Tots drive, our annual Christmas Party coming up quickly, and Christmas, and New Years right around the corner, we decided to do something really cool to give back to our customers.
In Lunarpages-fashion, we’ve decided to start a WordPress Theme Contest!! All you need to do is come up with the coolest, prettiest, most out of this world WordPress Theme and upload it to our site for the chance to win!
Just about anybody (with a few exceptions) can participate in the contest and the prizes are fantastic!
First Prize is $1,000 cash and 5 years free hosting on our Basic Plan
Second Prize is 3 years free hosting + $300 cash
Third Prize is 1 year free hosting + $100 cash
Plus you get the recognition and fame associated with being listed on our PR7 blog, via our PR6 Newsletter, in our forums, and pretty much viewed by thousands and thousands of customers and WordPress enthusiasts all over the world.
The best part is that it’s easy to enter – you simply need to give us some contact info (like your name and email so we can tell you when you’ve won) and upload your WordPress Themes directly to our site, where they’ll be posted for the community to vote on.
Each week starting December 10th, we’ll highlight our top 5 favorites and give our community the chance to vote via a poll on the blog for a favorite theme of the week.
The winner of the weekly poll is guaranteed a position in the final 12. There will be 6 weekly polls.

Lunarpages staff will choose an additional 6 themes for inclusion in the final 12. Contest entries close on January 22nd and the final 12 will be announced on January 23rd. A new poll with the final 12 (6 from weekly polls and 6 of Lunarpages choice) will be posted on January 23rd and voting will run for 2 weeks and close February 13th.
The winner will be announced February 24th 2008 when our winners will be announced on the blog and featured in the February Newsletter!

Too bad those who don’t have design skills don’t have a contest to enter. Maybe next time you can make a contest like best essay on why Lunar Pages is the best web host in the world.

I think apart from acadamics we should have vast knowledge relating to internet and computers programes and ofcourse its never too late and may be later at some point in life we get some chance of winning or improving our standard of life by having these essential tools in our arsenal.

I manage a hosting company in Spanish and from my experience I could say that Lunarpages is a great company and this contest is a good for the average webmaster.

Andrew, I agree with you ! This is very good and affordable company. With the help of Lunarpages they can create a website because of less price and many helpful templates and a website builder.

I’m always happy to see any kind of new online contests, no matter what niche they are in. When people mention all of the great improvements the Internet has brought, they rarely mention that it’s allowed a lot more people to have the opportunity to take part in some pretty cool contests.
