I think number 10 – update your business plan is an essential review that many people overlook and forget about. Each and every year brings change, and that change needs to be noted and though through. Very good point!

I think you make some very good points. Webmasters who have been managing sites for many years should pay attention here. Site mission, ad copy, creative change over time. Legal seems to be one of the last things we think of. Thanks for reminding us of its importance.

One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing outdated TOS and copyright statements, so that’s a great tip for webmasters to look out for. It’s frustrating to view a site and think it’s some kind of authority…only to find “copyright 2002″ at the bottom.
