The Word on WordPress
Author: Todd Austin
I know you guys are probably getting tired of hearing this…but we love WordPress here at Lunarpages!! In fact, I doubt there’s a web host out there who could possibly adore the blogging tool as much as we do. Not only do we offer the latest versions of all the necessary tech specs (PHP4.2+, MySQL 4.0+, mod_rewrite Apache module, etc) you’ll need to be able to run WordPress and offer you a one-click install as a member of Lunarpages Web Hosting, but we’ve also got a handy 1-2-3 tutorial written by our own Mitch Keeler that’ll help you install the theme of your choice. Oh, did I mention I created 9 new WordPress Themes for your downloading pleasure?
Because I definitely did.
To prove our undying adoration for WordPress, I have created these new WordPress themes and templates for you guys to check out. Feel free to download them and install to your own WordPress blogs, and if you have suggestions on what kinds of themes you’d like to see in the future, please do not hesitate to let me know so I can get to work.

Nice themes. I’m using the GlossyBlue theme 1.4 and edited it to my own demands on my private weblog/site (sorry hosted by Dutch hoster because of speed). E.g. added category pics and year of post to it. Also did some photo and color changes. Yours look also pretty nice.
Our other site @ Lunarpages keeps running smoothly thanks for that.

Why do most modern themes have a lot of margin space on the right and left. It’s so prevalent that there must be a reason. It really cuts down on the real estate available so if you post a photo, for instance, you need to make sure the width is small enough not to overlap the sidebar. Thanks!

GREAT themes! I’ll be stealing one or several in the near future for my blog. Specially love the rocketman theme — really cool.

Nice themes. Thanx much for those.
I do have a question for anyone that has worked it out…
I moved my blog to wordpress’ site because I needed the ability to work offline on my entries. I use an app called MS Live Writer. I can get it to connect to my wordpress blog on the WP site, but not to the installation on MY site. I know that there’s a specific place in the installation it’s looking for, but I can’t seem to find it.

sweet looking themes… However, I have one suggestion…. why dont you make these themes available in different formats, such as two column, three column, verticle columns, horizontal etc? That might make a whole new effect on the pages, dont you think?
