Thank you very much Kelly! Feel free to send us any feedback or thoughts that you might have on it.

I know so little about what you really do for me (my fault). I know it’s quite a lot. And I know there is quite a lot more of your services I could be using in my behalf … the result of “out of sight; out of mind. Those last nine words hint at the exact reason I’m excited about this. Very cool.

    Peace out,

    Steve

    Whoa,

I hadn’t even scrolled down yet. This is too good!

    Thank you!

This is a timely addition to your services (you’ll note I have not designed a web page yet; I am just using the address for e-mail). There is a lot of good content in this first issue (and a couple of typos and grammatical goofs). However, I think you can lose the happy faces. I understand the intention to convey good humor and reader-friendliness, but I don’t think they present quite the right image; in fact, they tend to undermine the depth of knowledge and sophistication of your organization and the publication.

I want to forward this inaugural publication to some folks who are discussing the very topics in this newsletter, especially interactive communications via e-mail, blogs, etc. but I am a little worried about how they will perceive your organizaion and newsletter with all those smiley faces.

  6. Lunartics Janet Says:

Great information - thank you for taking the time to put this together for your users!

  7. Lunartics Sarah Nolan Says:

I loved it! Keep up the happy smiley faces. Don’t go corporate on us LunarPages!

hey Amy, Todd, Tiara, Mitch, i liked this newsletter a lot, very informative, way to go. hope to see more ideas in the next newsletter about website marketing. thanks (and the style of this newsletter is just fine, w/ the smiley faces)

  9. Lunartics Wildman Says:

Nice Work Lunar Pages. Looking forward to reading your future content. With so many blogs out there today, it would be nice if yours had a niche focus. Perhaps on new feature enhancements available at LP (i.e. upgrade to the latest MYSQL - - what would that really mean to users), specifics or examples of how your technology features can be used to build cutting edge 2.0 web sites and of course perhaps a feature on various existing clients. Spam is a hot topic and an article on combating spam via the various email options would be helpful.

    Thanks Guys!

Luckily I caught the newsletter email even though it went to my G-mail spam folder… maybe ask google mail people why your email goes into spam? Anyways… if this is any place to leave a suggestion… I would love to see an improved online-folder-management interface (like match most of the useful features of Yahoo webhosting’s interface). Anyways, glad to have a newsletter! bye now =P

I just got to the end of this damned long letter (which is a good thing =P). It took me all day to visit all the links and read all the interviews and such great info makes it easy to be sidetracked! What did I get out of this newsletter? Some things in a nutshell: the definition of WYSIWYG, switched from SMF and WordPress to Joomla!, had some good laughs, found a whole new genre of music (sorta), began envisioning what web 3.0 could be like, and ended up rethinking using tables in all of my projects (may start using divs!). All in all I can’t wait for the next letter =P

  12. Lunartics Tiara Says:

Whoa, thanks for all the amazing comments, guys!!

ConanQ: Glad you learned something (or lots of things!) and sorry about the Gmail spam thing. It’s so hard combatting spam that just about all my decent emails end up in my junk folder no matter what. Grrr.

Wildman: Those are amazing suggestions. I’m keeping a list of customer suggestions on my desktop for the next newsletter, so I think some more in-depth 2.0 talk is in order. And Spam is also a great topic, so I’ll keep these in mind for sure — if you think of more, let us know!

Catherine: No…no smileys? B-B-But…but they’re so…so happy! Point well taken though. Maybe next time we’ll tone it down. It’s just…really hard for me to write without adding a little happy face… *restrains…*

Excellent! New customer, in developing process. This newsletter is very timely. Thanks a bunch.
